Fresh produce for the first calendar month of summer
June brings all your summer favourites from berries to British asparagus to watercress grown in fresh Hampshire spring water.
For a lovely June lunch, gently bash a bunch of radishes with the end of a rolling pan then sauté in a pan in a touch of butter. Add a liberal shake of salt and pepper then serve as part of a rocket, broad bean and mackerel salad. For pudding? Make our Gooseberry & Flat Peach Fool.
